New product release matches fresh look and feel with unrivaled reporting capabilities and trend data
ZixGateway, a policy-based email encryption service, automatically scans and encrypts outbound emails that contain sensitive information, such as protected health information, financial information and other personally identifiable information. The ZixGateway dashboard enables customers to administer email encryption controls and policies. The new design delivers a modern look and feel, offers convenient navigation and showcases the new reporting features.
Reporting capabilities enable customers to better understand their email exchange, their use of email encryption and how they are complying with corporate policies and government regulations. With ZixGateway 4.4, customers can receive improved visibility that tracks outbound and inbound message data, such as:
- Summary of which policies were triggered
- Encrypted email delivery methods
- Blocked email messages
- Top senders and sender domains
- Top recipients and recipient domains
With the enhanced reporting capabilities, customers can also view message queues, trends and total volume of transparent messages. Transparent email encryption occurs when both the recipient and sender have ZixGateway. Neither side requires any extra steps or passwords to receive secure email.
"ZixCorp continues to innovate and invest to expand our leadership in email encryption services," said Rick Spurr, ZixCorp's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "This new release of ZixGateway offers simplified management and greater visibility into email compliance while retaining all of our existing ease of use capabilities for senders, receivers and administrators."
